This is a description of the application software Command Modules(tm) that
are included in this archive, which can be accessed by using the 'Apps.Bat'
file. Some of the descriptions come from 'The Best Texas Instruments
Software,' Beekman House, New York.

1) Home Financial Decisions - 1978 Texas Instruments

This software package is designed to analyse loans, home and
automobile purchases, lease and purchase comparisons, long-term
personal savings trackings, and more. Menu-driven, the programme is
divided into four general areas: loans, residence, car and savings.

2) Household Budget Management - 1979 Texas Instruments

With powerful analysis features, this software keeps track of your
household income and expenses, and the programme maintains totals
	by the months and year-to-date.

3) Microsoft Multiplan - 1981 Microsoft

An electronic spreadsheet programme that allows you to divide your
computer's screen into rows and columns and make detailed
calculations on the figures contained in each 'cell.' 'Multiplan'
can be used for	a wide variety of applications, such as budgeting,
        forecasting, and analysis of investments.

In order to be functional, the module requires the 'Microsoft
Multiplan' programme diskette, which, unfortunately, was unavailable
at the time of this compilation.

4) Miniwriter II - 1986 DataBioTics Inc

A kinder, gentler word processor which is contained completely in the
Command Module(tm), which, therefore, does not require a diskette
        drive.

5) Music Maker - 1980 Texas Instruments

This programme allows you to create and play musical compositions on
the computer. You have the option of saving your creations on either
cassette or diskette, and the programme gives you control of all of
the basic elements of music, such as note duration and volume.

6) Personal Real Estate - 1980 Texas Instruments

This is a flexible programme which performs a lot of little tasks
that are common in the real estate field. With this module, you can
define investments, analyse loans, calculate lease payments and print
depreciation schedules. You can also print amortisation schedules
for a particular piece of real estate.

7) Personal Record Keeping - 1979 Texas Instruments

Probably the first database software for the TI-99/4, 'Personal
Record Keeping'	serves as an electronic file of index cards to
organise a collection of facts. This programme is ideal for
household records such as insurance lists, small inventories, and
        mailing	lists.

8) Statistics - 1979 Texas Instruments

This module allows you to enter a group of variables in different
        formats and analyse them statistically.

9) TI-Writer Word Processor - 1982 Texas Instruments

'TI-Writer' offers all of the major functions that you would have
expected to find in a word processor in 1982.

The module requires the 'TI-Writer' programme diskette, which is
included in this archive. In the 'Apps.Cnf' configuration file, the
'TI-Write.Dsk' diskette image is configured to be in 'V9t9''s
'DSK1.', so the programme should run without any complication.
